Job Description

About our Client:

They are one of the UK’s leading flooring contractors specialising in; commercial flooring, carpeting and tiling.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting on-site surveys to assess project requirements and measurements
Analyzing project drawings and specifications to determine materials and labor costs
Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for flooring and tiling projects
Monitoring project progress and costs to ensure they stay within budget
Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to negotiate pricing and resolve any cost-related issues
Providing regular reports on project costs and financial performance
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive pricing strategiesQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically in flooring and tiling projects
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong analytical skillsPoints of Appeal:
