3-month contract with possibility to extend to permanent.
Gilbert Meher are delighted to be working with a national care provider who are currently looking for an Interim Activities Manager to join their team is Maldon, Essex.
The ideal Activities Manager will have a history of organising activities for the elderly ,planning appropriate activities , delivering one to one care and taking life histories plus many other engaging activities.
To be considered for this great opportunity, the ideal Activities Manager will have the following skills and experience as outlined below.
2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Possess leadership and management qualities
Communicate professionally with visitors including family and friends.
Ability to Develop and implement activity programmes tailored to meet the physical, mental, and emotional needs of residents.
Experience Coordinating outings, events, and social gatherings to promote socialisation and recreation
Ability to Collaborate with care staff to ensure activities align with residents' care plans.
In addition, it is highly beneficial, that you can demonstrate the below.
Excellent time management, delegation and organisational skills executed effectively under
Exceptional listening skills, with compassion and empathy
