We are exclusively working with a business with one of the most attractive offerings on the market right now. This business are a genuine multi-disciplinary consultant with an array of specialist sectors aside from those that sit front and centre in similar companies. They have tens of thousands of staff worldwide and a strong MEP team in the UK.

The next hire in Manchester is a Principal Electrical Engineer who is ready to jump straight into the role. You will be delivery focussed, be the electrical lead and project manage the jobs. Work with the clients, take good briefs and delegate work to completion. You will work with a team of Electrical Engineers.

You will be encouraged to utilise the hybrid working model that the business has forged over the last few years that works. It's sensible and includes hot desking, working from home, other offices or coffee shops etc. The Manchester office is soon to move to a brand new office too.

Current and Pipeline projects will be supporting lots of Education and Healthcare projects and with more than hint of some worldwide work available too.

What you need to succeed in this role as the Principal Electrical Engineer:

Relevant qualification(s) and accreditation(s).
Proven Electrical Engineer within a Building Services engineering design role with strong knowledge of Electrical Systems
Be a proactive participant in the delivery of projects within the MEP Team
Project delivery, including overseeing input from others including other Intermediate and Graduates.
Delivering projects within budget, and on time to the required standard.
Attendance at design team, client and site meetings as required.

You will need a good understanding of the usual software including Amtech, Relux and Dialux. This business uses Revit and Autocad for drawing so experience of both would be an advantage. You will receive full CEng Mentoring and this is encouraged in the organisation and therefore an MSc or bachelor's degree in engineering would be an advantage in that process to make it faster and less painful.
