Contracts Manager

Based in London, Stratford – 5 days a week in the office

Our client is an established buildings and civils structural examinations company, looking for a dynamic and experienced Contracts Manager with a Rail, Buildings and Civils background ideally.

What you will need:

* Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, with a desire to manage, progress and develop a team

* A genuine desire to progress your career and build a successful team to assist in delivery

* A commitment to Innovation and safety

* Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of specialists

* Previous track record in contract delivery whilst keeping a tight control of the budgets,

* Excellent Planning and drive to ensure delivery, some Project Management experience and sub-contractor Management experience.

* Ability to utilise Systems and track progress, performance, and reporting.

* Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and experience in sales and client management, with the ability to develop and nurture relationships.

* Strong character and exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

The role:

* As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee and manage multiple mini-projects and subcontractor railway delivery.

* Will lead a team of over 20 professionals, manage workflows, drive efficiency, and ensure meticulous financial control.

* D deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards, while also driving team development and maintaining strong client relationships.

* Coordinate and project plan activities across multiple railway sites

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, driving sales opportunities, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
