PCB Test Engineer
Location: Newmarket, Suffolk
Hours: Monday- Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 1:00pm
Hourly Rate: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Pension, Overtime available during busy periods, Christmas closure, Christmas bonus
Duration: Permanent

Who are we?

Duties to include:
* Carry out testing of PCB’s in accordance with Customer Test Procedure
* Carry out fault-finding on failed assemblies
* Examine PCB circuitry to detect defects such as shorts, breaks, excess of missing solder and incorrect layout.
* Record test data and prepare reports
What we are looking for:
* Experience at reading and understanding schematics and other electronics engineering documentation.
* Good computer skills
* Basic soldering and rework skills
* General experience in PCB assembly and electronics manufacturing.
* Experience in setting up equipment to support test and fault-finding.
* A qualification in either mechanical or electrical engineering would be a bonus.
