Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be a key leader in our Dundee operations, managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and design through to execution and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet all requirements in terms of time, cost, and quality.
• Develop and implement detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate and manage project teams, including site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee procurement processes, ensuring materials and resources are sourced efficiently.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within a Tier 1 construction company.
• Strong background in managing large and complex construction projects, ideally in the commercial or infrastructure sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project management.
• Proficient in project management software and tools, including MS Project and BIM.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required
