We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join an amazing school in Lambeth, SW19. The ideal candidate will support students with their learning activities, ensuring they receive the guidance and assistance needed to achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
Support teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom management
Help students with special needs to access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities
Monitor and record student progress and report to the classroom teacher
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Skills Required:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students' learning
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different students -
Basic knowledge of educational software and resources
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable -
Enhanced DBS check required
