The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Supervisor to join our team, covering areas from London to Nottingham. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage a team of engineers while ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance services across multiple sites.
Responsibilities:
* Supervising and coordinating the work of mechanical and electrical engineers across various locations.
* Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Conducting regular site inspections to ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
* Scheduling and managing planned and reactive maintenance activities.
* Collaborating with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth operation of projects.
* Providing technical support and guidance to the engineering team.
* Maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including reports and inspections.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the M&E sector.
* Strong technical knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems.
* Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple sites and teams efficiently.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* Flexibility to travel between London, Nottingham, and surrounding areas.
