24-week contract. Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm

This is a fantastic opportunity for a pipe fitter - commercial plumber to join the Mechanical Installation Team supporting a pipework an equipment installation project in Sunderland, SR5 3NS.
Duties
As a suitably experienced pipe fitter - commercial plumber you will be working on site at a major car manufacturing facility on a project to extend the manufacturing facility. With responsibility to install screwed steel, flanged carbon steel and mapress stainless steel pipework from 2 inch to 8 inch diameter with the associated metalwork, brackets and supports. Specific duties will include measuring, cutting and threading pipework prior to installation along with fitting the stainless steel mapress system. Other duties will include assisting other pipe fitters where necessary and installing all pipework as the piping and instrumentation diagrams supplied by the engineering team.
About You
Based ideally in Sunderland you will need to live within a commutable distance of SR5 3NS.
Demonstrable experience of pipe fitting and commercial plumbing on major commercial and industrial installations is essential for this contract. Specifically installing screwed steel, flanged carbon steel and the mapress stainless steel pipe systems.
JIB registered
Most of the work is at high level so IPAF is required.
