Maintenance Manager - Fresh Produce
Do you have sound electrical and mechanical engineering experience? Have you managed the day to day maintenance requirements within a fresh produce environment?
I am looking for a Maintenance Manager to play a vital role in the efficiency and running of all glasshouse and associated equipment within a reputable leader in soft fruit production.
The Role:
* Manage routine servicing and regular inspection of all electrical, mechanical and other equipment of the facility (including boilers, high pressure pumps, gear boxes)
* Relay issues with the system clearly to people responsible for the Heat Pumps or CHPs maintenance.
* Maintaining records of the repair and maintenance work conducted in the facility.
* Detecting any defects and malfunctions, immediately repairing and refurbishing them.
* Taking ownership of specific maintenance projects.
* Coordinating and producing feedback on the functionality of the machinery and equipment
You:
* Growing, fresh produce background highly desirable.
* Prior experience with commercial HVAC, commercial boilers / industrial boilers/ heating systems, ideally glasshouse heating as a Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Manager / Site Engineering Manager or similar.
* Experience in maintaining and repairing production machinery - desirable
* Fabrication using lathe and welding - Desirable
* UK/EU Driving Licence - Essential
* Flexibility on working hours, inc potential call outs
* The ability to lead and be part of driven and motivated teams
Package:
* £45-50k doe
