Senior Electrical Engineer

As a Professional Electrical Engineer at our client's firm, you will be integral in designing, developing, and improving electrical systems that are efficient, sustainable, and meet the needs of clients. Your expertise will contribute to various projects, from conceptual design through to implementation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities: Design and analyse electrical systems and components for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Develop specifications for electrical systems, including layout diagrams, wire specifications, and other engineering details. Lead the integration of renewable energy sources into existing power systems. Ensure all projects comply with national, state, and local regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to provide innovative engineering solutions. Perform and oversee detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects. Communicate technical and compliance issues effectively with team members, contractors, and clients. Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Masters Degree preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects. Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, MATLAB, or similar engineering software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
