Graduate Engineer (Building Services)

Theyre looking for a Mechanical Engineer with building services experience to join their dynamic team. Youll have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, designing and overseeing the installation of mechanical systems that include HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise with a flair for sustainable, smart building design, ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Design and Develop: Create detailed mechanical systems designs (HVAC, plumbing, and other building services) for a variety of sectors including commercial, healthcare, and industrial. Project Management: Lead projects from concept to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams and ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and specifications. Sustainability Focus: Incorporate sustainable design principles and energy-efficient technologies into mechanical solutions, optimizing for environmental impact and long-term cost savings. Site Support: Conduct site inspections to ensure the proper installation and functionality of mechanical systems. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all mechanical designs comply with local and national codes, as well as company safety standards. What Were Looking For: Experience: 2 years of mechanical engineering experience in building services (HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design experience required). Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field); professional engineering license (PE) or working towards it is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software; experience with sustainable building design tools (such as LEED) is highly desirable. Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex engineering problems. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
