NOW HIRING: STORE MANAGER, Cape Town Goldcurve Wigs is looking for a business savvy store manager in Rondebosch, Cape Town. Company: Goldcurve Wigs is under the umbrella of parent company I AM Consolidated Holdings. Goldcurve will import, market, and sell wigs. We will be opening our first store in Cape Town and well also fulfill online orders from here. The company is small, you will largely be interacting with three other people, but we will hopefully be growing our team over the next two years. Responsibilities: We will launch our online store first, so November to January will be spent in Epping taking stock, packing orders, interacting with clients online, and establishing the brand. From January we will open our shop and you will be operating from Rondebosch only. This position is comprehensive and will require the candidate to manage the entire store from back to front. This includes taking stock, placing orders, filling online orders, making sales, interacting with clients both per email and in-person, and later also managing other employees. We are looking for a smart person who can create and implement the necessary systems to keep everything running smoothly in the shop. You will have support from upper management but will not be micromanaged, so independent decision-making is an important skill. Ambition, work ethic and a good sense of justice will work in your favour. Along with relevant experience and expertise, we are looking for someone that fits well in our company culture. Requirements: T his job requires an independent thinker with a Bachelors Degree in Commerce (or equivalent) or relevant experience in sales or running a business. Reliable transport is required. Computer literacy is required, but we will train you in specific systems. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and admin oriented. This position is client-facing and you will be expected to interact with people when making sales; good people skills are vital, as is a professional appearance. Good written and spoken English is a requirement, any African languages is a big plus. Knowledge about different wig types will be beneficial but is not required.
