Test Analyst (Manual) Fixed term contract (12 Months), Cape Town, Hybrid Qualifications: Relevant Degree (Business / Commerce / IT) Training in testing fundamentals or a relevant test certification is a plus Requirements: 4 years of manual testing experience Proficiency in basic SQL Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) is beneficial Strong attention to detail Proficient in data analysis and reporting Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to: Manage time effectively and complete tasks independently Quickly grasp concepts and understand the systems being tested Handle complexity Adapt to a high variety of work and frequent context switching Work comfortably with unpredictability in daily tasks Resolve issues and overcome challenges Collaborate with others to gather necessary information KPAs: Extracting test requirements from user stories Designing and developing test cases Estimating effort required for testing tasks Conducting manual testing of applications, including front-end, system integration, regression, end-to-end, and exploratory testing Managing and maintaining manual regression test suites Mitigating product risks to minimize defects in production Collaborating closely with developers and business analysts to identify, log, and verify defects in a tracking system Working with other teams in INST IT for integration testing Assisting with production support issues and queries Liaising with IT Ops and other Domains for support and issue resolution Driving continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in quality and performance Apply now For more IT jobs, please visit https://www.networkrecruitmentinternational.com/ If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
