Mechanical Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in the mining equipment industry. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing engineering projects related to mining equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in the mining sector and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects. Responsibilities: Lead mechanical engineering projects from design through to implementation, ensuring high performance and safety standards. Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems. Perform detailed mechanical design and analysis using CAD software and engineering tools. Oversee testing and validation of prototypes and final products. Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Masters Degree preferred). 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically with mining equipment or heavy machinery. Proven experience in managing engineering projects with successful outcomes. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
