An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Careers Lead within the Talent and Organisational Development Team on a temporary basis.


We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience working within the early careers environment who will fully support the TOD Business Partner (Early Careers) to drive forward the strategy to support our Workforce for the Future ambitions. On a daily basis, you will lead on our successful Modern Apprenticeship programme ensuring we offer the best opportunities to young people in a wide variety of occupational areas. You’ll support the development of our Graduate Apprenticeship programme and student placement framework as well as other areas of early career’s development.


You will have experience working within an early careers/youth/learning and development environment and be passionate about supporting the development of our young people. You will also have experience with Modern Apprenticeship programmes and experience of working with young people from diverse backgrounds. You will be highly motivated to deliver results for our young people as well having sound knowledge of external funding to support them.


It is essential that you have an HNC/SVQ3 or equivalent relevant qualification at SCQF Level 6/7 or above. An assessor/verifier or management qualification would be desirable.

Working Pattern



  • Monday - Thursday: 8:45am - 4:45pm (including a 55 minute unpaid break)

  • Friday: 8:45am - 4:15pm (including a 50 minute unpaid break)
