An exciting opportunity has arisen for a nurse to join the Intellectual Disability team to provide outpatient nursing care.

As the successful applicant you will be a registered learning disabilities, mental health or paediatric nurse with experience of working within the field of, learning disabilities, mental health or a CAMH setting, with evidence of ongoing professional development. We are looking for an individual who will enjoy working in an evolving and expanding service. You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be willing to undertake educational and development activities. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to engage in service wide developments to continue to improve and advance the CAMHS Outpatient service.

This post will report to the nurse team leader and senior nurse. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary resource that provide assessment and support to children and young people with complex needs. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with this client group who can bring their prior knowledge and experience to support the development of the service.

The contracted base for this post is Centre for Child Health, 19 Dudhope Terrace, Dundee DD3 6HH or St Leonards Bank, Perth, PH2 8EB with travel required across NHS Tayside.

You must be a Registered Nurse in Learning Disabilities (RNLD) Mental Health (RNMH) or

Childrens Nursing (RCN) with current UK NMC Registration.
