JOB TITLE: Pricing and Planning Placement

LOCATION: Milton Keynes (hybrid 1-3 days in the office required per week)

SALARY: £22,250, 27 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, loan car scheme, pension and a discretionary bonus

CONTRACT: June 2025 - June 2026

Are you critical thinking and keen to apply your problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced and engaging team? We are looking for a Pricing and Planning undergraduate to do just that. Our team works with the wider business to deliver projects on behalf of the Controlling, Treasury and direct Bank team. As such, our team has responsibility for understanding the business requirements, working cross functionally with IT system teams to ensure a speedy and accurate delivery of the business requirement.

This is what your time at Volkswagen Financial Services might look like:

• Responsible to produce Operational Risk Committees monthly data manipulation and PowerPoint presentation.
• Responsible for development of pricing model to show impact between the different pricing methods.
• Involvement in the production, monitoring and analysis of Cost of Sales information.
• Develop an understanding around the core financial calculation impacting Volkswagen Financial Services and check Point of Sales Systems for compliance.
• Support the Controlling and Pricing team with the annual planning process.
• Work on key projects deputising as subject matter expert when appropriate.
• Gain the ability to develop reports using Business Objects and understand data contained with the profit cube Universe.
• Produce reports and analysis data to support the General Manager - Pricing and Planning Methods and the Director of Risk and Controlling.

About you:

• Currently studying a degree in Economics or Business, or a related field.
• Methodical and disciplined approach to work
• Ability to organise own workload to meet strict deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mind when dealing with data

Here's what our process looks like:

• Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
• You'll then be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to understand how you may approach situations.
• If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
• If successful, your final step in the journey is to attend an assessment centre at our Milton Keynes office where you will take part in a group exercise, complete a short interview and deliver a presentation. You'll also meet some of our managers and our current Undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.
