Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary / Benefits: 24,000 - 34,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits
Growing legionella compliance company are currently looking to recruit a water hygiene engineer to join their Southern team. You will be covering contract across the South Central area, with minimal London work. Applicants must have prior experience within a water hygiene role; however, the role may suit those just starting out in the industry, who are looking to grow and develop within an established company.
Consideration will be given to candidate based in; Reading. Slough, Windsor, Bracknell, Camberly, Basingstoke, Aldershot, Farnham, Woking, Guildford, Didcot, Abingdon, Oxford, Bicester, Aylesbury and the surrounding area.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Experience working within a water hygiene engineer (or similar position).
- Confident in ACOP L8 and HSE guidelines relating to water hygiene and legionella management.
- Able to work well independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to develop and learn within the role.
The Role:
- Delivering routine legionella monitoring and sampling tasks to a varied client base.
- Cold-water storage tank clean & disinfections.
- Calorifier inspections
- TMV servicing, fail safe testing and calibration.
- Tank inspections and cleans.
- Flushing of small outlets.
- Showerhead cleaning and disinfections.
- Updating onsite logbooks to ensure compliance.
- Working in line with ACoP L8 / Health & Safety Guidelines.
- Representing the company to clients in a professional manner.
