Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a number of Residential New Build schemes based in South East London, one of the schemes is a 1,000 unit scheme RC Frame projects which is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support a strong team of commercial staff.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects.
• Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle, ensuring adherence to budgets.
• Prepare tender documentation and manage the tendering process.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies for cost-related risks.
• Negotiate contracts and payment arrangements with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate and process project variation orders and claims.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on cost assessments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
