QA Engineer

Rate: Up to £450 outside IR35

Location: Remote - London

Duration: 8 Months

Notice: Start by October 14th

The UK’s fastest-growing Automotive Tech start-up seeks a talented QA Engineer to drive automation test efforts for its award-winning application as it continues to innovate and expand.


Backed by two automotive giants, this disruptive service has transformed Europe’s £50Bn used car market, offering an intuitive and user-friendly platform that benefits both customers and car dealers.


Required Experience:

  • Prior QA Testing background in B2C industry web platform development.
  • Strong experience in automated backend testing, with additional exposure to front-end testing using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
  • Proficient in writing elegant, maintainable code and knowledgeable in containerization technologies.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, integrating automation within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Passionate about quality, with a proactive approach to testing that goes beyond "does it work"—curious, questioning, and detail-oriented.
  • Effective at identifying and resolving issues, taking ownership of solutions while managing priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a love for learning new technologies and strong self-organization.
