Location: Cambridge (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week in office)

Type: Temporary (3 - 6 months)

Day Rate: £450-530 per day

Job Description:

Finatal is partnered with a private equity backed SME who are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to help with an overhaul of the finance function. You will need to be an independent contractor to help with process improvement, streamlining, reconciling balance sheets, producing KPIs & reporting packs. This individual should hold basic financial principles to a high regard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage management accounts.
• Conduct month-end processes.
• Implement process improvements for the BAU transactions.
• Handle and analyse financial data to support business decisions.
• Reconcile the balance sheet.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Pull together KPIs and reporting packs.
• Build reporting processes.

Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience within a PE backed firm is desirable.
• Experience pulling together KPI reports and board packs.
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Hands-on experience across numerous elements of the finance function
