Transport Operations Support

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Operations Administrator to join our Stafford Transport team on a full time permanent basis.

As a Transport Operations Administrator you will be responsible for providing administrative support and accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines in order to contribute to the overall success of the site.

Shift:4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm.

Key Duties of a Transport Operations Administrator:

• Correctly debrief drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culinas document management system.
• Preparing drivers wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Downloading drivers cards / tachographs.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing & Completing of loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.

• Attention to detail / accuracy.
• Positive and adaptable attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
• Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Able to work as part of a team or individually.
