Finatal is currently partnered with an upper-mid PE-backed Hospitality business on an ambitious buy-and-build strategy. With several deals in the pipeline, they are on the hunt for an experienced Finance Director with a proven track record in acquisitions, particularly within the Hospitality sector.

This role will play a pivotal part in driving the company’s M&A activity, focusing on the Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and integration of acquisitions, working closely with the CFO and Private Equity house.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the FP&A function, steering the business through its buy-and-build strategy, including FDD and post-acquisition integration.
• Drive financial strategy and planning, ensuring alignment with the PE house’s long-term goals and value creation targets.
• Collaborate closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, acting as a trusted business partner.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making across the business, from deal structuring to performance optimization.
• Potential to be part of the exit process, estimated to take place in 12–18 months, offering a chance to contribute to the final stages of this high-growth story.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience as an FD in acquisitive, PE-backed businesses, preferably within the Hospitality sector.
• Expertise in financial modelling, due diligence, integration, and leading FP&A teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with C-level executives and Private Equity investors.
