About the role of Quantity Surveyor


Exciting opportunity for assistant, project and mid-level surveyors to join a Surrey based business with a rapidly expanding portfolio of high-end residential projects, commercial buildings, retail outlets and more. Whilst the head office is in Surrey, a lot of the work will be done on site, which projects currently running or starting soon in Bristol, Wales, Liverpool, Poole, London and the surrounding area. Project values range from £1 million to £30 million so project surveyors with involvement on previous similar sites would be ideal, but extensive in office training is offered to those with less experience.


Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:


  1. Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
  2. Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyors.
  3. Managing Packages.
  4. Managing Sub-Contractors and Clients.
  5. Site Meetings.


Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:


  1. Ideally degree qualified and needs to be construction based.
  2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  4. Fully valid UK driving license.
  5. Preferable available as soon as possible or a 1-2 month notice period
