Job Description

Role: Technical Architect / Senior Developer

Start Date: November 2024

Contract Length: 12 Months

Work Location: Remote with rare travel

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Industry: Public Services

Interview Process: Two Stage


Urgently required hands on Technical Architect to join a global IT consultancy, servicing a gov. arm in cloud-based application delivery.


You will be working directly with the end client & their team of architects, developers & business analysts.


You must undertake BPSS & hold active SC clearance to join this project.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Converting architectural designs into solutions to be implemented by the engineering team
  • Working with the Technical Delivery Manager, leading & working tech spikes with the software developers
  • Implementing microservices and handling data management challenges associated
  • Working on large scale application delivery projects
  • Bridging the full range from strategic technical level down to writing code snippets & supporting engineers in unblocking technical issues
  • Technical architecture and breaking down solution architecture into technical stories
  • Assisting in unblocking the engineers with their experience as a key point of escalation


Key Skills:


  • Active SC clearance
  • Strong AWS Expertise: SNS, SQS, Step functions, Lambda, API Gateway
  • Government application delivery experience
  • Expert in: Java & Springboot
  • Strong history implementing microservices, incl. data & transaction management
  • Architectural & hands on software development experience


Desirable:

  • NPPV3 security cleared
