Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a Quantity Surveying Assistant on a temporary basis. The role will be working alongside the current post holder until early 2025, at which point the role will have the possibility of going longer term.

You will be working within the building services department who are responsible for repairs and upgrades to Social Housing. You will be involved in the costings for these works and also dealing with subcontractors. The role will involve preparing monthly reports for management and being involved in preparing tender documents.

The desired qualifications and experience are :

  • Experience related to Social Housing Maintenance.
  • HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or related and can be working towards
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent organisational skills

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous experience working within social housing/maintenance/property or a candidate that is keen to progress after gaining a relevant qualification.

The client is keen to get someone started as soon as possible to ensure the handover is as long as possible.
