Software Team Leader

This successful Cybersecurity software company are a global leader in their space.

They are looking to hire a Software Team Leader to take a key role as they drive forward with their expansion plans.

This is a hands-off position, where you will be responsible for the line management of around 15-20 Software Engineers in a people management role. A technical background is not necessarily required for this role as you will be supported technically by their Chief Architect, Architect and Lead Engineers.

The goal of this role is for you to help guide the team (and as individuals) to reach their full potential through 1:1s, goal setting and identifying training needs as well as offering personal support and professional development.

This role will involve:

• People management (including recruitment, management and training needs, 1:1s, performance and goal setting, coaching, motivation and growth).
• Working alongside Technical Leads (who will be responsible for technical/software deliverables)
• Collaborating with delivery, product architects, support, and the product team to ensure the team is aligned to meet product and roadmap deliverables.
• Leading remote teams
• Working in an Agile environment

Experience of leading teams within SME tech companies is essential.

A hand-on software development background would be useful, however this role will also suit someone who has come from a Product Manager or Scrum Master background

This role is remote (providing you are already living in the UK). Experience of managing remote teams is also ideal.

Salary range for this role is £55-65k.
