Building Maintenance Technician / Light Construction

Twin City Staffing is seeking a building maintenance technician / light construction worker to assist with remodeling projects in residential housing units. This building maintenance technician opportunity is ideal for anyone with previous construction experience and who enjoys working with their hands.

Location:Golden Valley, MN

Wage: $22 - $27/hr., DOE

Hours:8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the building maintenance technician / light construction:

• Perform light construction duties including hanging kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, installing hardware, and other duties as assigned
• Conduct basic electrical work including installing light fixtures, light switches, outlets, etc.
• Perform basic plumbing work including installing sinks, faucets, etc.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and carry cell phone when on-call

Requirements of the building maintenance technician / light construction:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in construction or remodeling
• Able to work at worksites across the metro
• Clean driving record
• Operate power and hand tools
• Lift / carry up to 50 lbs.
• Customer service
• Pass pre-employment screenings
