Electric Utility Distribution Construction Manager / Field Rep
Location: Berwyn, PA 19312
2 Year plus contract assignment
Overhead and Underground Electric Distribution Projects.
Our client is looking for candidates with work and leadership in Utility Electric Distribution Construction. This is primarily for a Construction Field Rep / Oversight person well qualified in Electrical Distribution work to oversee large and small construction projects.
Knowledge and experience with electric distribution construction, preferred ex foreman, supervisor, crew lead or Journeyman lineman.
Requires experience and knowledge in Construction or Maintenance of utility Distribution projects . Previous experience as Construction Manager, Site Supervisor, Superintendent, Construction Field rep, Journeyman Lineman, Crew Leader, First Line Supervisor, journeyman Electrician, Foreman, supervisor, etc in the Utility industry pertaining to Transmission and Distribution are a good fit.
Construction project management with experience in managing a distribution construction site and have knowledge about Distribution installation projects. Some duties include: Provide constructability feedback during design and walk downs, Review Bill of Materials and assist with managing material availability, Develop work scope for construction bid documents and assist Project Manager in bid evaluations, Responsible for the coordination and oversight of all construction activities involved in a project; Coordinate contracted work activities for centrally managed Exelon Utilities projects during installation, monitor contractor(s) on safety, cost, quality and schedule performance, Run safety briefings with contracted construction crews, Initiate Scope Change requests, Elevate document deficiencies and Provide Planning support to the project team as required.
Will need cellular phone, air card (Internet), Base PPE (Class E Hardhat , Safety Glasses, FR Clothing, FR Safety Vest, Steel Toe Work Boots).
