Our client is renowned for its innovation and excellence in the logistics sector. With a strong market reputation and a commitment to delivering outstanding projects; they are seeking a commercial Lawyer to join their legal team.

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Head of Legal. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad spectrum of commercial legal work. The successful candidate will be reviewing, drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts including new customer services outsourcing contracts, customer contract renewals, general procurement contracts, IT contracts, and deal with general enquiries from the business. Additionally, you will be responsible for the delivery of commercially focused legal advice and support to the business. Other responsibilities will include dealing with an understanding of commercial landlord and tenant, public procurement, and TUPE.

The candidate must bring a proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to legal matters and a proven ability to work collaboratively across the organisation and legal team.

About you:

The successful candidate will have at least 2 PQE, having trained in a top UK law firm. Experience within the logistics, manufacturing, environmental services, water industry and other sectors including services outsourcing and infrastructure development would be advantageous, but not essential. Ideally you would have experience of working in a fast-paced in-house environment. This role would suit someone who is commercially astute.
