Business Analyst

Role: Business Analyst (Data Stewardship)

Length: 6 Month Contract

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Rate: Flexible Day Rate for the right candidate

Location: Cambridge (Once per fortnight)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in data stewardship to support the global rollout of data stewardship services across various markets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting internal market analysis and working within highly regulated, global environments. This role requires the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across different regions, gather and analyse data stewardship practices, and contribute to the design of a standardised internal service. The role is primarily remote, with a requirement to be in the office near Cambridge on a fortnightly basis.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Contract Business Analyst, particularly within data stewardship or data management projects.

• Strong background in working within highly regulated environments, preferably on a global scale.

• Experience conducting thorough market analysis, preferably in a multi-market or global context.

• Demonstrated ability to translate analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.

Skills:

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and address gaps in data stewardship practices.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience managing relationships across different regions and cultures.

• High level of attention to detail, with strong documentation and reporting abilities.

Flexibility:

• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with the majority of work being remote but with a requirement to attend the office near Cambridge every fortnight.

Regulatory Knowledge:

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to data management in global markets.

Industry Background:

• The successful candidate must have expertise working within global, enterprise-level businesses, accustomed to high standards of data regulation.
