Estimator Construction

The company was founded in 2020, by its Directors who have been in the flooring industry for over 25 years.

During that time they have been involved in some of the largest soft flooring commercial installations in the UK.

Now focussing on the residential market, the company has been going from strength to strength since its inception.

Due to a strong order book and a number of new contract awards for Q4, along with repeat orders from their existing client base, they have an opportunity for a Estimator to join the team to work alongside the sales, commercial and project management teams in the head office in Oldham.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Estimator to join a business which is going from strength to strength.

Thiswill be an office based role, working alongside the MD within a small Commercial team.

You will gain training on all processes and procedures and your main job role will be to assist with the preparation and submitting of tenders, with the key objective of ensuring quotations are submitted on time, and are of high quality.

You will take ownership of multiple tender submissions once you are fully trained up, working alongside your colleagues and other departments, ensuring you are achieving maximisation of profits.

You will attend pre-construction and client meetings so will have varied day to day responsibilities gaining full insight into an Estimator role.

The role will offer career progression with no ceiling on where you end up in the business.

What YouNeed to Succeed

This role will suit someone who is currently in or interested in getting in to an Estimating role, who has some previous experience in the construction industry.

You will have strong communication and numeracy skills and will be proficient in using Excel.

You will be an ambitious and enthusiastic individual, looking to progress and develop your career and work your way up the ranks within a small but busy and successful company.
