Job Description

Southdown are a leading provider of care, support and supported housing across Sussex. We are looking toappoint a Project Manager for Housing and Asset Management to manage a portfolio of activity and help us deliver against our ambitions for increasing our supply of housing and driving operational excellence across our housing services.

Reporting to our Director of Housing & Assets, the post-holder will be holding a diverse portfolio of projects working across all aspects of specialist supported housing: project managing acquisitions and developments, supporting the work to decarbonise our housing stock and overseeing improvements in systems, building safety and compliance.

You will be required to have excellent project management and the organisation skills to ensure projects are delivered within deadlines, that risks are tracked and issues identified and resolved or escalated. The post-holder will be expected to anticipate and track project resource and ensure that the activities project team members is efficiently coordinated. Excellent communication skills in addition to organisation and time-management skills will essential. It is essential for the candidate to have experience in development and property acquisitions (whether in the social housing sector or more broadly).
