We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager or Senior Residential Childcare Worker to join a well-established company operating three childrens homes.

These homes provide care for young people who may have experienced social, emotional, and behavioural challenges due to trauma or neglect. We offer a holistic and therapeutic approach to care, tailored to meet the individual needs of each young person.

This role operates on a rolling rota, following a 2-on, 4-off shift pattern, which includes sleep-ins and occasional weekend work.

Salary: £28,700 - £38,100, inclusive of 1-2 sleep ins per week - £70 per shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance, support, and care to young people, attending to their practical, emotional, and physical needs.
• Serve as a positive role model, helping young people overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
• Work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee shifts, provide staff supervision, and act as Deputy Manager in their absence.
• Contribute to the holistic and therapeutic care approach tailored to each young person's individual needs.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children, young people, or young adults with complex needs in a residential care setting, including at least 1.5 years in a Senior Residential Support Worker role.
• A Diploma in Childrens Residential Care (or equivalent qualification).
• A valid drivers licence and the flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
