Mechanical Fitter - Power Station

Our Client based in Slough is after a Mechanical Fitter for a minimum 3 month contract to start immediately.

You will be to providing front line maintenance at the facility and be responsible for all aspects of the safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance on the mechanical equipment and systems on site.

Hours:

• Days Monday to Friday - roughly 10 hour days
• £21.27 per hour plus £75.00 lodge allowance

Role & Responsibilities:

Your duties as a Mechanical Fitter will include reporting to the Maintenance Manager and you will be responsible for:

• Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will undertake and support the daily planned maintenance activities.
• Complete fault finding, diagnosis and repairs of the plant which include gearboxes, valves, compressors, pumps, fans, boilers etc.
• Undertake measures to improve the plant reliability, efficiency, and performance of the plant proactively, always in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain the site CMMS and record all historical works undertaken.
• Supervise 3rd party subcontracts on all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Complete health and safety paperwork following company guidelines.
• Provide technical support to the fuel handling and operations team for the plant when required.

Requirements:

• Must have a CCSNG card
