Senior Event Planner

Location: Leyton, East London

About the Role:

A luxury catering and events company is looking for a talented Senior Event Planner to manage and deliver high-end events from start to finish. You will be the key point of contact for clients, responsible for turning their visions into memorable experiences. The events you'll handle will range from brand launches and corporate events to private luxury weddings, with guest lists from 20 to over 800 people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Field initial client enquiries and create bespoke proposals.
• Work closely with the kitchen to ensure menus match the clients vision.
• Lead all aspects of event management, from planning to on-the-day execution.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and staffing for each event.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Be present on-site during events, overseeing all details for seamless delivery.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to sales strategies.

About You:

• At least 3 years of experience as an Event Planner in luxury event catering.
• Proven experience managing complex, high-profile events from start to finish.
• Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple events at once.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.
• Passionate about food, drink, and hospitality, with a keen eye for detail.
• Able to stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly to unexpected changes.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends during peak event seasons, with overtime paid.
