We are looking for brave, passionate, reliable people to join our company as Lead Maintenance Technician you will be performing:

Main objectives:

Lead maintenance technician provides leadership and guidance and perform maintenance duties at clients' site. Lubricate machinery, change parts, or perform other routine machinery maintenance. Perform Audits and PM's along with creating reports based on the findings of these duties.

Role and Responsibilities:

These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Responsible for dispatching and assigning work to the other shifts.
* Conduct audits ensuring the other shifts are completing satisfactory PMs and repairs in a safe/ timely manner.
* Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
* Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.
* Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.
* Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
* Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
* Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
* Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
* Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
* Set up and operate machines, and adjust controls to regulate operations.
* Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
* Responsible for Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.
* Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
* Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse in order to maintain machinery and work areas.
* Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment

Requirements

* Years of relevant experience: 4 years of related experience
* Education: Associate degree in maintenance Mechanic or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs and CMMS
* Good understating of logistics processes
* Mechanical/conveyor knowledge

Physical Demands:

* Must be able to lift/carry up to 51 lbs.
* Comfortable with heights i.e., ladders, high mezzanines.
* Tolerance to perform the job in high temperature i.e., second floor mezzanine in an un-air-conditioned warehouse.
* Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Eye and Face Protection, Respirator)
