Job Description

Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an Ultrasound Technologist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As an Ultrasound Technologist you will:
• Competent in production, use, recognition and analysis of ultrasound images and patterns used for patient diagnosis and treatment.
• The practitioner must be knowledgeable in ultrasound physics and instrumentation, normal anatomy and pathological variants.
• Delivers excellent patient care. Performs ultrasound procedures under the direction of a radiologist, while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Daily situations require critical-thinking and decision making skills.
• Actions and attitude that contributes to the critical success factors of the organization (i.e. best place to work, most extraordinary experience, superior outcomes, financial success for reinvestment, a growing organization vital to the community, and valued as a faith-based organization).

Qualified candidates will possess:
• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP) as required and/or be ARDMS registered.
• Two year of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Able to handle a multi task environment and work independently
• PC skills such as Windows NT
