Job Description

Genesis10 is seeking a Healthcare Cloud Solution/Data Architect for a contract with our client in Minnetonka, MN. 100% Remote.

Job Description:
Solution/Data Architect with Cloud, Analytics, and Rules Engine exposure is responsible for leading and implementing modernization initiatives of analytics solutions. The role requires expertise in cloud platforms, data architecture, and analytics engines, specifically with modernization exposure. The role necessitates familiarity with healthcare data systems and scalable operations in a secure, efficient manner, while adhering to healthcare standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Modern Data Architecture Design:
Design scalable, reliable, and secure modern data architectures tailored to healthcare organizations' needs, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
Develop solution architecture for scalable analytics engines, including the transition of on-premises data systems to the cloud and implementing hybrid cloud solutions.
Ensure modern data architectures support healthcare-specific systems, including integration with Payer Modules, Electronic Health Records (EHR), and Patient Management Systems.
Modernization (Cloud Solution):
Oversee the modernization and migration of healthcare data and applications to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations while complying with data handling requirements.
Architect and lead the prototyping of modernization for the rules engine, ensuring improved efficiency and scalability. Identify the right technology to transform and manage a rule engine prototype in a cloud environment, with a focus on performance optimization and cost-effectiveness.
Develop a modernization roadmap that aligns with business continuity demands, focusing on cost optimization, performance improvement, and scalability. Assess the current IT infrastructure and propose modernization solutions for transitioning workloads to the cloud with an emphasis on scalability, security, and performance.
Data Security and Compliance Management:
Ensure cloud data solutions comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and other relevant data privacy laws.
Implement robust data security measures, including data encryption, secure access, identity and access management (IAM), and continuous monitoring.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
Work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand the specific needs of the healthcare organization.
Act as the technical advisor for data and cloud technologies, providing solutions that meet both operational and clinical goals.


Required Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of extensive experience in data architecture, modernization, and cloud solutions, specifically within healthcare organizations.
Expertise in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and analytics engines like Spark or Hadoop.
Experience with Databricks, ADF, and Snowflake implementation.
Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical systems, and regulations (HIPAA).
Specific experience in the modernization of SAS rules engine is a plus.
Experience in AI/Client for data analysis and predictive modeling.
Knowledge of data security best practices, encryption, and identity management.
Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.


Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $75.00-$80.00
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
