Job Description
Duration: 6 months contract
Work schedule:
2nd shift Mon-Fri 2-10.
Description:
Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products . Coordinate testing of samples and input data into computer application.
Skills and experience requirements:
Should have goodlaboratory skills,preferably in pharma/biotech .
GMPlaboratory setting experience.
• Wet chemistry techniques.
Somedata interpretationrequired.
Computerskills.
Should exhibit good problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
• Well organized.
Preferred skills and experience:
Experience withpharma/biotech quality control testingpreferred but not required.
Experience in operatinganalytical equipmentpreferred ( analytical balance, total carbon analyzer, spectrophotometer, pH meter ).
HPLC / GC testingand/or data.
• Basic HPLC instrumentation in a laboratory setting.
• Data acquisition software (Chromeleon, Chem station, Empower).
Education and experience:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and 0-3+ years of experience withHPLC.
Bachelor’s degree inChemistry or Biochemistryor Associate’s degree preferred.
Other notable details:
Fast-paced environment, team-player who can also work independently, potential for overtime.
