Role: Secondary Teacher

Location: Hillingdon

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only

We are seeking a SEN Secondary Teacher for our specialist school in Hillingdon. We provide provision for pupils aged 3.5 to 19 across two sites. Our Secondary School offers smaller class sizes and a variety of qualifications tailored to each students needs and abilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and innovative team that values creative approaches to education and fosters a positive learning environment.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Secondary Teacher to join our team, working with students aged 11 to 19.

The successful candidate will teach PE and English classes and should have experience in SEN education. Applicants with QTS status from either Primary or Secondary backgrounds are welcome.

Secondary Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

Teach pupils according to their educational needs, focusing on maximizing achievement and development.

Address and manage challenging behaviours due to students' diverse needs.

Work creatively to plan and deliver engaging sessions.

Collaborate with support staff to ensure a smooth and supportive classroom environment.

Provide regular feedback to senior leadership, parents, and carers.

Secondary Teacher - Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience teaching in an SEN school or working extensively with pupils with complex additional needs.

Ability to plan and execute fun, engaging lessons.

UK QTS or QTLS is required.

The successful Secondary Teacher will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
