CMM Programmer

A successful global manufacturing business supplying major OEMs across various industries is actively seeking a contract CMM Programmer. This is a client that prides itself on its state-of-the-art machinery, clean/friendly working environment, and just a general modern-day working ethos. The successful professional will earn a competitive hourly rate of £40 p/h (outside IR35) and will have the freedom to work flexible working hours. Overtime might be available upon request.

CMM Programmer duties include -

• Measurement of products using hands-held measuring equipment & CMM.
• When required, assist with editing and creation of new programs.
• Identify and report any repeating quality concerns.
• Report and document any quality defects.
• Keep systems well maintained and audited, to ensure that calibration plans are easily accessed.

It would be great to hear from you if you have the following -

• Experience working within a similar role (Metrology Engineer, Operator etc)
• Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
• Able to operate program CMM machinery and problem solve when required.
• Relevant mechanical engineering education (HNC/HND), or training.
