Site Manager Construction

Procast is seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Manager to oversee a major external facade renovation project in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site operations for a large-scale external facade renovation project
• Coordinate and supervise multiple subcontractor teams
• Ensure project adherence to timeline, budget, and quality standards
• Implement and maintain strict health and safety protocols
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
• Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment usage
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
• Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to senior management

Requirements:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Site Manager on large construction projects
• Specific expertise in managing external facade renovations or similar large-scale building envelope projects
• Strong track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building regulations, and health and safety legislation
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
• Relevant qualifications such as HNC/HND in Construction Management or equivalent
• SMSTS certification and first aid at work qualification

Desirable:

• Experience working on historic or listed buildings
• Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and materials
