Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + discretionary bonus

The role of the Estimator Roofing Systems will involve:

Estimator position promoting a high quality range of various roofing contract services; maintenance, flat roofing, pitched roofing, refurbishment, and roofing carpentry

Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements

Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required

Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices

Producing formal quotations to clients

Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database

Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors

Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met

Estimating for projects ranging in value from £50k to £1m

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Roofing Systems with:

Must have estimating experience in the roofing market sector dealing with roof tiling, flat roofing, roof carpentry and lead works

Must have experience using Blue Beam or STACK estimating software

Sound understanding of roofing and building legislation

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Strong numerical skills

IT literate (Microsoft Office, particularly savvy in Excel)

Confident and articulate individual
