Job Description
**Nursery Manager, Wembley**50 Place nursery, £40,000- £43,000Full time- 40 hours per week
Tigerlily Recruitment is assisting this lovely setting in Harrow seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to take lead of their team.
The setting is a 50 place nursery. You will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of nursery provision on a day-to-day basis.
Main DutiesTo lead and manage high quality practice in the nurseryTo work collaboratively with colleagues from other teams ensuring consistency and a high quality serviceTo be effectively compliant with procedures for Ofsted, Local Authorities and other relevant bodiesTo manage and deliver against agreed Key Performance Indicators, all aspects of nursery financial and operational management, including occupancy, staffing rotas, parent invoicing, payroll information.Base hours of 40 hours per week
Desirable Skills/QualificationsMinimum Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalentPassionate about Early years education and childcareGood ICT skills-Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etcExcellent communicator at all levelsAbility to organise own work effectively and that of others, identify priorities and meet outcomesLead by example; demonstrating high levels of drive, enthusiasm and passion with proven ability to motivate othersExcellent written communication with ability to produce and evaluate reports
Relevant ExperiencePrevious experience of managing a similar settingRecent Ofsted onsite inspectionsUp to date knowledge of EYFS framework and regulationsExcellent knowledge of other regulatory frameworksKnowledge of Safeguarding children and keeping children safeAwareness of health and safety requirementsSuccess in managing provision and innovative teaching across the Early Years Foundation stageCommitment to and understanding of the importance of Early Years Practice
