We have an opportunity for an Estimator to join a fast-growing general construction company who undertake a range of education and industrial/ commercial new build and refurbishment schemes.

You will be working in a small estimating team, with the guidance of an experienced Head of Estimating

The Role Estimator

As an estimator, youll be working under their Head of Estimating and working with the wider team across the education and commercial sectors on projects ranging from £100k to £1.5m.

You will be responsible for:

• Quoting for work from specs, drawing and site visits.
• Speaking to clients and subcontractors to understand requirements.
• Contract Negotiation.
• Site visits alongside clients and subcontractors.
• Organising workload and reporting to the Head of Estimating.

Current schemes include:

• School extension £650k
• Sports pavilion refurbishment £1.5m
• Sports hall refurbishment £1.3m (ongoing work with the same school)
• School refurbishment £750k

Applicant requirements Estimator

• Must have experience doing, measures, take offs, programmes, clarifications, and pricing construction projects.
• Experience using estimating software would be beneficial.
• You will have some experience working as an Estimator in the construction industry.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (8:00-17:00) based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
