Job Description

A local authority based in South London is seeking a Planning Lawyer for an initial period of 3-months.



The successful Planning Lawyer must have local authority experience and a current practising certificate.



Your caseload will involve the following:




  • Supporting the Senior Planning Lawyer in ensuring that the council receives high quality planning and environmental legal advice,

  • Advising on planning and highways agreements,

  • Planning enforcement matters,

  • Planning litigation and,

  • Attendance at the council’s planning applications committee.



You will need to have experience of handling your own complex legal planning caseload.



The Council offers a flexible working environment.



Pay rate is between £40-60 per hour.



Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
