Childcare Legal Assistant Locum

We are working with a highly reputable Local Authority in the Wiltshire Region looking for a Childcare Legal Assistant to join their busy Childcare and Adult Social Care department on an interim basis.

The successful candidate must have upwards of 6 months’ experience in:

• Childcare matters in a local authority


• A good understanding of Childcare and Adult Social Care law

Responsibilities will include: -

• Drafting S.7 and S.37 reports


• Assisting on PLO cases


• Drafting witness statements and applications


• Preparing hardcopy and electronic bundles

Pay rate is between £18-25 per hour.

The council offer a hybrid working environment. Training will be provided.

The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice. Previous childcare legal experience is essential.
