You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Working office based in a busy environment
• Overseas travel expected.
• Working closely with the Culinary and Concept departments allowing an effective handover.
• Assuming overall responsibility for the company's process function.
• Determining micro-suites and nutritional categories to be used for each type of product, following up and resolving any deviations which may arise.
• To attend trial or first production runs with the Concept team, making sure all processes and products are as per agreed specification, and meet quality, regulatory standards and customer policy.
• Oversee the completion of product specifications either on customer platforms or electronic.
• Supporting with legal, artwork and printer queries, creative copy and design briefs ensuring compliance.
  
• Manage artwork processes including reviewing and ensuring all back of pack information is accurate and in line with the technical labelling policies and product organoleptics.
• Ensuring all primary and secondary packaging labels are compliant and following customers policies.

What's required?

• Degree in food-related subject and/or 3 years' food industry experience.
• Experience in own label NPD for major retailers and food service.
• Strong management skills.
• Have knowledge of nutritional, legal,compliance to support the completion of product specifications.
• Food manufacturing environment and an understanding of factory processes.
• Meat knowledge preferable.
• Direct customer experience.

£60,000.00 - £75,000.00 per annum
